- Self Service Password Reset Requirements SELF SERVICE PASSWORD RESET SOFTWARE REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY: This request for information is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid, Request for Proposal, Solicitation, and Request for Quote, or an indication that the Government will contract for the items identified in this RFI. The Government does not intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this RFI. Any responses received will not be considered nor used as a proposal. This is an RFI only and the Government will not be entertaining any questions. If and when an RFP/RFQ is issued, questions will be addressed at that time. The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) is conducting market research for the purpose of identifying possible sources and the availability of a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Self Service Password Reset software to be used at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, GA. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential contractors who have the skills experience and knowledge to successfully provide a COTS software for Self Service Password Reset, please see the attached list of requirements and annotate the vendor's capabilities accordingly. The FLETC requests the following information from potential sources; please include the reference HSFLGL-12-I-00012: • Company name, Duns number, street address and point of contact with phone number and email address. • Provide a brief capability statement (not to exceed 5 pages excluding the brochures, pamphlets, catalogs and website information) based on the requirements stated in the attached documents. • What is your socioeconomic status? • Do you currently have contracts with any on other government agencies (to include federal, state and local for a Self Service Password Reset software)? If so please provide the Agency name and POC contact information if possible. • Do you have a current GSA contract for Self Service Password Reset software, if so please provide the GSA schedule number and FSC codes? • Please provide commercially available price lists for this software and your capabilities. • When submitting a capability statement based on the requirements described in the attached requirements list, please confirm that the recommended software is fully operational and can be demonstrated at FLETC. A demo presentation of the software can be scheduled; upon approval you will be provided a vendor demonstration agreement between FLETC and your company that will need to be signed by an authorized person in your firm. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. There is no guarantee that the Government will pursue a solicitation for any of the requirements identified in the future. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. All information received in response to this RFI will NOT BE RETURNED. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All information should be directed to: RFI response (2 hard copies) must be received (in hard copy only - no e-mail) no later than August 22, 2012 at 3PM Eastern Standard Time.
