- Synopsis: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. The US Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Grounds - Belvoir Division intends to award, on a sole source basis to Marlow Industries, Inc., 10451 Vista Park Road, Dallas TX 75238, a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. Under the proposed action, the contractor shall provide two (2) custom-designed long wave blackbody image sources capable of fitting into a pre-existing US Government sensor system without modification or redesign. It has been determined that Marlow is the Only Responsible Source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency Requirements. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1); Only One Responsible Source and no Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responses received within ten (10) days will be considered by the Government. Responses shall be no longer than five (5) pages and shall be in a Microsoft Word compatible format. The anticipated award date is ten (10) from the closing date of this notice, IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.204-7004. In addition, all offerors must complete the Certifications and Representations as set forth in FAR 52.212-3. This can be accomplished through the following website: https://orca.bpn.gov.
