- Mercury Marine Parts List PRESOLICITATION NOTICE NAICS: 333618 (750 employees) The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Small Boat Product Line, is seeking qualified sources that can provide Mercury Marine outdrive parts for the MerCruiser Bravo One XR utilized on the 32' Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSB) (see attached PDF for parts). All parts supplied must be genuine Mercury Marine parts - no substitutes or aftermarket parts shall be accepted. All parts shall be preserved, packaged, and marked in accordance with Standard Commercial practice. Delivery of all parts shall be F.O.B. Destination. The Government anticipates awarding a fixed-price Requirements-type contract consisting of one base year and four option years as a result of this solicitation. All engineering and technical data, drawings, etc. required to manufacture these parts are proprietary information to the OEM. It is the Government's belief that only Mercury Marine can provide these outdrive parts; therefore the Government intends to solicit only Mercury Marine, and/or their authorized distributors. Industry was given the opportunity to submit their capabilities in the Sources Sought Notice posted on FedBizOpps on July 24, 2012. Request for Proposal (RFP) Number HSCG40-12-R-50133 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps on or about August 13, 2012, this date is ESTIMATED at best. It is the offerors responsibility to periodically check FedBizOpps on or about this date for availability. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which if timely received, shall be considered by the Agency. This announcement is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1.
