- The Regional Contract Office Vicenza (RCO) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the cleaning and sanitation of air ducts in support of the U.S Department of Public Works Vicenza Italy. Solicitation W912PF-12-R-0471 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation, provisions and clauses in its entirety are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition to include any addenda to the provision. The contractor shall clean and sanitize with appropriate equipment, the air ducts, the registers, grilles, diffusers, heat exchanges, heating and cooling coils and appurtenances. It is the contractor's responsibility to reassemble all equipment after cleaning system parts and removing false ceiling portions as necessary. Obtaining the solicitation: The solicitation is available for download from the FedBizOpps- website: http://www.fbo.gov. All notifications of changes to this solicitation shall be made through the Internet only. It is the contractor's responsibility to check for any posted changes to the solicitation. Registration: Potential Offeror's MUST register at http://fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to this solicitation. All contractors MUST be currently registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov or newly registered in the System Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
