Description

Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment, supervision, disposal and permits necessary to install portable generator connections by located at the VA Medical Center, 830 Chalkstone Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. Project Number 650-11-027. The portable generator connections must be installed by licensed electricians. The construction cost range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable NAICS code is 238210 and the size standard is $14.0 million. Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable to the Government. The solicitation package will be available on or about August 23, 2012. The date for receipt of offers is scheduled for September 21, 2012 @ 9:00 am. An organized site visit will be scheduled and further details provided in the solicitation. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offerors to verify the number of amendments issued. This solicitation will be 100% set aside strictly for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. All SDVOSBs must be certified in Vet Biz as an SDVOSB prior to the submission of quotations. All offerors must ensure registration in SAM (System for Award Management) www.sam.gov is current and accurate.
