- Description
- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB Ca. intends to issue a sole- source procurement action to Verizon Federal Inc. to provide a color video microwave link between Santa Ynez Peak and Bldg 7000. Vandenberg AFB Ca. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 517110. The proposed contract is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Authority of FAR 6.302-1. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals recieved within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide equivalent supply and service as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationals as to why they should be considered. Respond to the below point of contact referencing RFQ number F4D1F32082AC02 by 3:00 pm (PDT) on 25 August 2012. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The 30th Contracting Squadron will not reimburse for any cost connected with providing the capability information. Rule requires a firm to be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov, ORCA (https//orca.bpn.gov) and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)(https://wawf.eb.mil) prior to award of any contract or agreements. Firms must register on a one-time basis and annually confirm accuracy and completeness of registration information.
