- VI. Notification of Compliance with Contract Insurance Requirements V. General Financial Organization Information IV. Timber Sale Instruction Package III. Solicitation II. Bid and Award Sheet I. Cover Letter For Sale - Pine and Hardwood Timber: Harvesting of selected Pine trees in Forest Record Unit #53 and #58 as specified in the Special conditions of Sale. The sale consists of approximately 2,588 pine sawtimber trees containing an estimated 797,192 board feet Doyle Scale. Log scales based on Form Class 80 for pine. The timber to be harvested is located on approximately 64 acres of the East Reservation, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana as indicated on Map Drawings B13-1, and B13-2. A 10% bid deposit will be required. This agency will consider a bid from all responsible sources. The solicitation package, FA4608-12-B-0001, response date is Friday, September 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available; interested parties will have to download the solicitation package. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 113310 with size standard 500 people. You will not be eligible to receive an award if you are not in the Central Contractor Registration database - https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/ - (Reference: DFARS 252.204-7004, Alternate A, Required Central Contractor Registration) and registered in On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
