- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 0010162649 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-60. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334611 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2012-08-10 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Fort Benning, GA 31905 The MCC Eustis - ICO Benning requires the following items, Meet or Exceed, to the following: LI 001, KIOSK Interface Software - THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO EITHER PROVIDE EXISTING SOFTWARE WHICH MEETS OR EXCEEDS THE INDICATED SPECIFICATIONS OR TO DEVELOP APPROPRIATE SOFTWARE WHICH MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Provide user interface to four KIOSKs that provides a custom setup of menu structures for up to 75 pages. Software will enable a fully centralized web-based learning and communications system through customized menus, utilizing touch screen interface technology. (SEE ATTACHED SCOPE OF REQUIREMENTS-SOFTWARE PORTION ONLY; HARDWARE IS NOT NEEDED). Software Specifications: (SOFTWARE MUST BE CAPABLE OF OBTAINING APPROVAL FOR A CERTIFICATE OF CONNECTIVITY (CON) APPROVAL TO BE USED ON ARMY NETWORKS); NEC Compliant; Dual Monitor Support, extended desktop; Kiosk-Friendly Graphical User Interface: Enables complex content from intranets, web sites, business applications ad back end systems to be integrated into a seamless, powerful yet easy-to-use interative resource, including rich media assets like full motion video, audio and animation. Programs automatically, resizes web links and user inputs for easy readability and access by touchscreen. Displays any web-based content or application, including HTML/CSS, XML/XLST, Flash, Java, Javascript,.NET, ASP, PHP, Perl, Adobe.PDF, PureEdge - all industry standard content. Easy to use on-screen kiosk-style user controls for navigating, browsing, printing, audio volume, language selection, font size, etc. to provide a browser-like user experience. Customizable toolbar "skins" and buttons. Build around industry standard Microsoft Internet Explorer browser engine. Reliable Remote Monitoring, Content and Software Management: Allows system status to be monitored real-time via a centralized server. Provides ability to control and securely update all content and software components from a centralized server, via http or https, using a client-side pull strategy. Manages updates for selected individual kiosks or entire groups. Attached is the current scope of requirements; it will be amended as new information becomes available., 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MCC Eustis - ICO Benning intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MCC Eustis - ICO Benning is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration.
