- Contractor shall provide all services for cleaning/janitorial services located at the New Bedford Vet Center, Fairhaven, MA in accordance with the statement of work and terms and conditions. The estimated period of performance will be from 09/10/2012 through 09/09/2013 for a base year with four (4) one (1) year options at the discretion of the VA Medical Center. The applicable NAICS code is 561720, size standard of $16.5 Million Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will include technical, past performance, veteran's preference and price. This solicitation has a set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The solicitation will be available on or about August 10, 2012. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for August 24, 2012 at 8:00 am. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of the issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this web site. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issues. Any interested vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business under NAICS code 561720. Any interested vendor claiming to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business must be certified in VetBiz in order to be eligible for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business Preference.
