- The National Cemetery Administration, Philadelphia, PA, is amending its Solicitation for proposals from prospective contractors to furnish all equipment, parts, materials, supplies, labor and supervision necessary and incidental to renovate turf with seed in Sections 2X & X at the Long Island National Cemetery located at 2040 Wellwood Ave., Farmingdale, NY 11735. This Amendment replaces the previous solicitation in its entirety, including all attachments, and includes the following changes. 1. The deadline for responses is hereby extended to August 13, Close of Business. 2. This Amendment affirms that this solicitation will be used to form a Firm Fixed Price Services Contract to be awarded on a Best Value basis, Price and Non-Price related factors considered. All references to Construction are affirmed as meaning Services; and Drawings, Plans, and Specifications are affirmed as meaning Requirements. 3. A duplicate clause 52.243-1 is deleted. 4. Several spelling and grammar mistakes are corrected to insure conveyance of correct meaning, including full pagination of all attachments. Please download a fresh copy of the solicitation and its attachments from this announcement and be sure to indicate Acknowledgement of Amendments on page five, in addition to signing the first page, SF1449, and replying by indicated date and time.
