- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 12. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 - THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. The RCO Stuttgart, 409th Contracting Support Brigade (Europe) anticipates a requirement to provide two (2) portable video display systems and one (1) 55 inch all weather HD LCD monitor. Portable video systems shall be Two Edge Blended 1400x1050 Super Extended Graphics Array Plus (SXGA+) Digital Light Processing (DLP) projectors, such as the Optima EP910 or equivalent. Video Display System must support multiple image windows, each resizable and moveable to anywhere across the display area. System must be self supportive and portable. Frame should be light weight, and designed for mounting projectors in an overhead front projection format. Video processing units shall support multiple inputs and outputs such as the Extron Quantom connect or equivalent. PC based video display shall be capable of saving up to 100 preset display layouts. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Solicitation No. W91WFU-12-R-0002 will be issued as a Request for Proposal. Delivery date is anticipated 30 days after award. This is an unrestricted full and open competition. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 2640, business size of 750 in number of employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 33410. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 13 Aug 2012 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/gov. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award date will be on or around 21 Sep 12. Point of contact is Ms. Misty E.
