Description
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit small business vendors to provide software and hardware support for telephone and telecommunications switching systems programming, database management and programming, Unique Corp. UCALL and CAIRS systems hardware and software support and administrative management, and application support services for the various automated systems at the Base Communications Office (BCO) at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NAVCOMTELSTA) Jacksonville, Pensacola Division Pensacola, FL. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a pre-solicitation notice only that a solicitation is scheduled to be released via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). The complete statement of work and technical specifications will be provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about 20 August 2012 and will close 15 days thereafter. No solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will solicit this requirement as a small business set-aside, using acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed procurement is for a twelve (12) month base period and two (2) one-year option periods. FOB Destination. This requirement will be unrestricted and is identified under NAICS Code 541511 with the small business size standard being $25.5 million. The RFP will be made available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) and the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (www.neco.navy.mil) web sites. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced websites frequently for updates. No paper copies of these documents will be issued. Offerors must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instruction.
