- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented in additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA6656-12-P-0009; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60 (Correction) effective 26 Jul 2012; Defense DCN 20120724 effective 24 Jul 2012, and AFAC 2012-0330 effective 20 Jan 2012. This acquisition is for a Total Small Business Set Aside ; The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326299, the business standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 9320. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3069. Youngstown Air Reserve Station Vienna, Ohio has a requirement for Combat Offload pallets. LINE ITEM: COMBAT OFFLOAD PALLET RUMBER #COP-A1 BRAND NAME OR EQUAL QTY : 11 The Combat Offload Pallets must have the following characteristics: * Quantity (6) RUMBER AIRDROP (AD HEAVY) 69"L X 60"W X 29"H * Quantity (3) RUMBER COMBAT OFF LOAD PALLET -(COP) 72"L X 52"W X 12.5"H W/ STRAPS & D- RINGS * Quantity (2) RUMBER COMBAT OFF LOAD PALLET - (COP) 72"L X 52"W X 12.5" H W/STRAPS & D-RINGS * Must be Stackable to allow for varying weight requirements * Exposed hardware must be hot-dipped galvanized Pallets need to be impervious to fluids & oil, will not crash or splinter, insect and termite proof, UV and water resistant, prevents FOD on runway/tarmac, and made of 100% recycled materials. All qualifying bids will be accepted. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in: FAR 52-212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
