- This is the cover letter for the solicitation package RFQ#490430 This is the solicitation package for RFQ#490430 This is a solicitation for Request for Quote (RFQ) 490430 to acquire quotes for a contractor to supply and install a computer room air conditioning (CRAC) unit. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, and miscellaneous materials necessary to install and commission a CRAC unit at an FBI facility located in Buffalo, NY. The contractor shall provide and install a CRAC unit that is equivalent to one (1) eight (8) ton Stulz Air Technology Precision Environment Control Unit with the following features: (1) Down flow configuration; (2) Top Return; (3) Condensate pump; and (4) 18" floor stand. The Government intends to award a Fixed Price contract for the requirements as set forth in the RFQ. Both performance and payment bonds are required in the amount of 100% of the contract value. This is a small business set a-aside requirement. The NAICS for this requirement is 22133which has a size standard of $12.5 million. Quotes shall be submitted electronically on or before Wednesday, September 12, 2012 by 4:00 PM, EST. Quotes and any modifications or revisions, shall be sent via e-mail. please send all quotes to the Contracting Officer Anna Bercaw at anna.bercaw@ic.fbi.gov. All late quote submissions will not be accepted unless otherwise determined by the Contracting Officer that an otherwise successful quote that makes its terms more favorable to the Government should be accepted. Quotes may be withdrawn by written notice received at any time before award. SITE VISIT Site visit will take place on August 22, 2012 at 10:00AM EST at the RCFL in the City of Buffalo. All potential Quoters who will be attending the site visit must notify Anna Bercaw via e-mail no later than August 20, 2012 at 2:00PM EST at anna.bercaw@ic.fbi.gov to receive location and instructions to enter the facility. Quoters are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS All questions and/or clarifications regarding the RFQ shall be submitted via e-mail no later than 4:00 PM EST on or before, August 24, 2012. Any questions/comments submitted after the deadline will not accepted unless determined to be in the best interest of the procurement by the Contracting Officer. All questions shall be sent via e-mail.
