Description
This Request for Information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an obligation by the Government to acquire any products or services. BACKGROUND The Forest Service, Fire and Aviation Management located at 3833 S. Development Ave. Boise, ID 83705, has a potential requirement for a Project Specialist to develop implementation steps and timelines for the Evolving Incident Management (EIM) final report recommendations. The contractor's primary responsibility shall be to provide the lead and work with task groups comprised of subject matter experts to facilitate the action items in the Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP). Knowledge in workforce succession planning, understanding of the National Wildfire Coordination Group's role, experience on incident management teams and communication skills sufficient to interpret the SIP's final recommendations and facilitate development of implementation action items is required. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for this requirement to facilitate an award prior to the end of September 2012. This Request for Information is simply an attempt to gain information about the market for a Project Specialist to develop implementation steps and timelines for the Evolving Incident Management (EIM) final report recommendations. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, point of contact, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization.
