Description
Fed Std 595C Military Specifications Amendment Military Specifications Drawings # 20114651 and 20114652 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quote (Number FA8307-12-Q-1132) is being issued, under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses of those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60, DPN 20120724 and AFAC 2012-0330. This requirement is a Hubzone set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 332919, Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing, which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Cryptologic Systems Contracting Division (AFLCMC/HNCKS) at Lackland AFB, TX, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order using full and open competition procedures for the production of the following items that have been identified as commercial items: CLIN 0001: Sphere Valve Handle Wheel, IAW drawing #20114651 QUANTITY: 1000 Each CLIN 0002: Sphere Valve Hand Wheel Alignment Dial, IAW drawing #20114652 QUANTITY: 1000 Each SHIPPING ADDRESS: AFLCMC/HNCBM 230 Hall Blvd, Bldg 2028, Ste 218 San Antonio, TX 78243 DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 60 days after receipt of order (FOB Destination) shipping must be identified as part of your quote The right to make no award is reserved in the event it is advantageous for the government to do so. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR Clause 52.219-3 - Notice of HUBZone Set-Aside or Sole Source Award FAR Clause 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items (Feb 2012) FAR Clause 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following technical factor shall be used to evaluate offers: lowest price deemed technically acceptable.
