- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 0010180724 is issued as a request for proposals. Proposals must be good for 30 days after the closing date. This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory Federal Acquisition Regulation commercial item provisions and clauses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561920, and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The Headquarters Army Materiel Command (HQ AMC) requires contracted services in support of an existing AMC Museum-Quality Event Convention/Venue specific exhibit. The Contractor shall pick up and transport the exhibit from incumbent contractor in Lawrenceville, GA. The current effort will consist of storing, updating/modifying the exhibit, packing, crating, shipment, set-up and return to storage of the existing exhibit for use at the annual gathering of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA Annual) being held 22-24 October 2012 at Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. in accordance with (IAW) the attached Performance Work Statement.
