Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-09-G-0003 with Honeywell International, Inc. of Clearwater, Florida, to provide technical support for the H-764 Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) in the VH-60N aircraft. This procurement will involve upgrading the EGI GEM Link software and MAGVAR Table. As the designer, developer, and OEM for the H-764G EGI, Honeywell is the only company that has the ability, resources, technology, and documentation necessary to modify, develop, produce, maintain, and support these systems. The authority permitting other that full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The estimated period of performance is contract award thru two (2) years.
