Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPOSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE.THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING ISSUED USING SIMPLIFIED ACQUSTITION PROCEDURES. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-60. Submit written proposals on RFP number W912HP-12- T-0008. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335311 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). The full text of a FAR Provision or clause may be accessed electronically at http://acqusition.gov/comp/far/index.html Delivery : Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination Instructions, Conditions & Notices to Offerors Price: Completed Bid Schedule: CLIN 0001 Upgrade of existing power inverter to supply 120V AC single phase power to emergency and critical AC circuits. Total Charges All vendors will submit the bid schedule above on their company letterhead. Basis For Award Award will be made to that Offeror whose proposal has the lowest price. Statement of Work GENERAL St Stephen Powerplant is upgrading their existing power inverter to supply 120V AC single phase power to emergency and critical AC circuits. The system has a 120V AC feed from station power, and a 125V DC feed from the station battery. SCOPE This request for proposal is for the supply of a modular style power plant that must meet or exceed the following requirements: Upgradable to a minimum of 30kVA, capable of accepting up to three independent modules Two (2) independent, hot-swappable 10kVA modules provided with the Inverter Be capable of RS232 Communications to provide alarm and status data to a remote location Have a static transfer switch capable of switching times <5 mSec Be complete with a Maintenance Bypass Switch The quote shall contain pricing for the supply of the system and shipping costs. DELIVERY All equipment will be delivered to: St Stephen Powerplant ATTN: Daniel Rabon 1275 Rediversion Road St Stephen, SC 29479 ACCEPTANCE All equipment supplied under this SOW will be warranted against manufacturer's defect for at least one year after supply. If the equipment is found to be defective inside the warranty period, the Contractor must repair or replace the defective component(s) without further cost to the Government.
