Modification 0001 reads as follows: Body armour cleaning consists of Kevlar removal of 3 pcs and wash vest put Kevlar back in. 3000 pcs exist at this time to clean. Helmets need to be washed inside and out replace chin straps, pads and replace helmet cover and return assembled. Sizes are S/M and L/XL need to keep sizes divided when returning. Approximate 800 helmets exist at this time to be washed. Parkas and trousers need to be cleaned and then folded into a square and then wrapped in saran wrap and marked. Existing 2000 pcs need to be cleaned. Sleep bag systems consist of 5 pcs they need to be folded and returned with all 5 pcs. 100 pcs exist as time to be cleaned. Evaluation factors for bids are as follows: Delivery and turnaround time please provide in writing to me how you plan to achieve this goal. Past performance - please provide references of similar work done. These factors will be the determination with consideration of price also. Expectation of 160 pcs of body armour (2 mob boxes) 50 helmets (1/2 mob box) Approximately 180 pcs of parkas and trousers and 15 sleep systems in 1 MOB box would expect a turn around of 2 weeks on this equipment This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation number is W90M2T0010166433, and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP is being conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). No paper copies of this solicitation will be provided. Contract financing will NOT be provided for this acquisition. The Government reserves the right to not make an award at all and will evaluate the possibility of multiple awards. Quotations are being solicited and a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type Purchase Order(s) is anticipated. Contractor shall provide all plant facilities, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and any other items and services necessary to perform pickup/delivery laundry and dry cleaning services. The Contractor shall receive, account for, process and return all items tendered for cleaning. This solicitation is set-aside for small business The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 812320. Size Standard: $ 5.0 mil Quotes to include shipping charges (Fob destination pricing required) Description of commodity: 1.Trousers, parkas, sleeping bags, helmets, and body armor. Description: Trousers, down feather parkas, sleeping bags, helmets (need to have old pads, chin straps installed) Government will provide pads, helmet cover washed and removed, Body armor (OTV) needs to have Kevlar removed, hand scrubbed and Kevlar replaced. It is highly recommended that the prebid walk thru is attended to verify specifications on this equipment.
