Description
The above referenced solicitation is amended as follows: Add questions and answers. 1.Is there reporting system that's already being used within NIST? Any incumbent? Answer: Reports are generated presently via a manual method of cutting and pasting from summarized data files. There is no incumbent. 2. Could we please be advised of the existing database structure and schema? We'd like to know the as many details as possible. Table column names, format of database, is data stored in SQL? If possible could we have a sample of data's being collected? How does the data get collected? Level of integration/interaction for new task with the existing calibration database? Answer: NIST database is in SQL. The data is considered proprietary, so we are not able to give out a sample. The data is collected via Mac computers, connected to the instrumentation system via IEEE 488. 3. The transaction speed of which data is being fed into database? The size of database? How often the report needs to be generated? Answer: The speed is on the order of 1MB per day. The size of the database is not relevant, since it is something on a NIST server, the potential bidders shouldn't have to worry about it. Up to 5 reports per week need to be generated. 4. What is the estimated budget for this solicitation? Answer: The Government does not provide budgetary information for competitive actions. 5. I couldn't find the hardware specifications requirement. Do we need to install a data storage hardware? Or can it be assumed that the data will be stored in the existing server? Answer: The data will be stored on the existing server. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED BY REASON OF THIS AMENDMENT.
