The U.S. Army TCC-Kaiserslautern (Europe, 409th CSB) intends to competitively solicit and award a contract for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the Ports of Ashdod and Haifa, Israel. This contract will include S&RTS in connection with the receipt, disposition, processing, and loading/discharging of vessels at the ports of Ashdod and Haifa, Israel. The S&RTS is needed to allow for government cargo movement through sea ports of debarkation. The TCC will hold an Industry Day on 26 August 2012 to expand our market research and to provide information regarding the planned S&RTS acquisition. The conference will be held at the David InterContinental Hotel (Tel Aviv), 12 Kaufman Street - Tel Aviv, 61501, Israel. This Industry Day will allow interested sources the opportunity to ask questions and provide comments regarding the requirements development. In addition, the Government will use this Industry Day as a means of gauging the availability of qualified commercial sources. The Government will discuss any risks and the general source selection criteria anticipated. The conference will begin at 09:00 and end at approximately 11:00. Sign in will begin at 08:15. Participants are invited to remain after the conference for individual/private meeting time with the Government to answer additional questions. Each participant should expect no more than 15 to 30 minutes to meet privately with Government members for questions. Advance registration is required. Parties interested in attending this Industry Day shall submit a reservation request via email to Ms. Melissa Lynn at melissa.k.lynn.civ@mail.mil and Ms. Leanne Condren at leanne.m.condren.civ@mail.mil. Please limit participants to one person per company. Your request shall include the name of the firm - name and title of the individual participating - telephone numbers and email addresses. All reservations for this event must be received no later than 22 August 2012 by 0800. This reservation request is only for attendance to the Industry Day. Vendors are responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations, if needed. Parking fees at the hotel will not be provided. 70 NIS for parking must be paid to the hotel directly as the US Government will not pay for this service. Please note that industry participation is voluntary and the Government will not reimburse respondents or attendees for any efforts expended as a result of or in response to this notice. The draft PWS and Schedules are attached. Each contractor should bring copies to the conference on the morning of the Industry Day. Additional copies *will not* be available at the Industry Day.
