Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Princeton, New Jersey has a requirement for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to provide water treatment services for their HVAC system as described in the Statement of Work provided with the solicitation. The order shall contain a base year and four optional one year periods. The period of performance for the base period is September 1, 2012 through August 31, 2013. This procurement is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 325199 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees or less. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is H141. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for this requirement utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. A mandatory site visit is required for all vendors wishing to quote on this solicitation. Interested parties will be given a tour during which potential contractors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. Offerors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit to fully inform themselves about the location and conditions under which the work is to be performed. Quotes will not be accepted by vendors who do not attend the mandatory site visit. Site visit may be scheduled with John McGreggor, phone: 609-452-6526. The Request for Quotations is only available on line by downloading from this site. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, ALL CONTRACTORS must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for an award of a Federal contract. For information regarding registration in SAM, contact the SAM website at https://SAM.gov. Additionally, each offeror must obtain, and provide with the quote, their nine-digit Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
