The purpose of this Request for Offer is to seek competent and qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, insurance, notifications, license, permits, fees and supervision necessary to provide Janitorial Service, in accordance with the specifications, contract clauses, terms, conditions and wage rates. This is an SEDB 8(a) Set Aside. Small socially and econmically disadvantaged businesses competing for this acquisition shall certify their status on the Business Declaration Form inserted following Part IV, Section K. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 561720, janitorial services. All contractors proposing this project desiring an interpretation or clarification of the specifications, contract terms and conditions, etc., must make the request by e-mail to Joanna Grant at Joanna.Grant@faa.gov. TELEPHONE QUESTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The requestor shall provide a company name, point-of-contact name, address and telephone number; as well as a return e-mail address. The Contracting Officer is the only person authorized to make clarifications, interpretations, or changes to this solicitation. Submission of Offer: Please see Section L of the Request for Offers package. OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN AUGUST 31, 2012 4:00 P.M. PACIFIC DAYLIGHT TIME (PDT). THIS IS A REQUEST FOR OFFERS, THUS NO FORMAL BID OPENING WILL OCCUR AND RESULTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE BY TELEPHONE. DO NOT CALL FOR RESULTS. A SITE VISIT is scheduled for AUGUST 24, 2012 at 11am. Site visit is NOT mandatory but offerors are encouraged to attend. Offerors who wish to attend MUST provide attendee contact information to Joanna Grant at Joanna.Grant@faa.gov or by calling (425) 227-2865. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
