Description
Furnish and construct Stone Fire Stoves, Log Picnic Tables and Log Sign Structures for Thielsen Forest Camp. This project has been identified as a rustic dispersed campsite and is to be reconstructed to the 1930's CCC era. Picnic tables and sign structures are to be constructed from hand peeled, seasoned logs. This project is located on the Diamond Lake Ranger District on the Umpqua National Forest, Township 26 South, Range 6 East, Section 31, near Lemolo Lake Jct., OR. From Roseburg take exit 124 off Interstate I-5, take Highway 138 East (North Umpqua Highway), continue for approx. 73 miles, turn left into Thielsen Forest Camp for the project site. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about September 5, 2012. A payment bond (100 percent) and a performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Note: prospective awardee shall be registered System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. The System for Award Management (SAM) is a free web site that consolidates the capabilities you used to find in CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS. "This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P)". "
