- This is notice that the Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Offeror to provide, fabricate and install three Relift Pumps at Big, Little, & South River. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 333911 with a size standard of 500 employees. The tentative RFP issue date is on or about 08/21/2012, with quotes due on or 09/14/2012. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a delivery date of NLT May 15, 2013. The anticipated award date is on or around 10/01/2012. The RFP documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities web site at www.fedconnect.net under RFP Number F12PS01009. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once in the website, enter the solicitation number (F12PS01009) or title (Pump Projects at Bald Knob NWR) in the search criteria field. The Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore the responsibility of any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of it. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The proposal(s) will be evaluated based on the following evaluation factors: Factor 1 Delivery Capability; Factor 2 - Past Experience; Factor 3 Past Performance; and Factor 4 Technical Support/Warranty. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with Sections L and M of the solicitation. Prospective Offeror's must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) at the close of this RFP in order to be eligible for award. SAM registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505. If you fail to comply with this requirement, you may lose consideration for contract award. NOTE: Offerors SAM record must list NAICS code: 333911. A mandatory formal site visit has been tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 30, 2012 at approximately 10:00 am EST at the Bald Knob NWR. No faxed quotes will be allowed. The Government reserves the right to issue a single award or no award to an Offeror that is responsible and provides the best overall value to the Government.
