- Example of recommended CRCT Trailers This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being solicited and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912L7-12-T-025 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. This requirement is being advertised as Small Business set aside and the North American size standard is 100 Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423740. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this Agency. Items to quote on are below and shipped to 3041 Sidco Drive, Nashville, TN 37204. The Government considers the CRCT towable model from AMTECH. A product, which demonstrates the level of quality desired by this solicitation. However, the brand name or equivalent are acceptable quotes and must meet the Salient Characteristics. Mentioning of this brand name will not be construed as limiting competition. Evaluation factors for this award are delivery/ installation and technical specifications based on salient characteristics Award will be determined by product compatibility with salient characteristics, lowest price, and delivery/installation terms and training if applicable. To be determined an equal product the equal product should meet the salient characteristics and will be determined by the unit upon comparison of request. Offeror MUST provide Tax ID and CAGE Code and DUNN's# with quote. Offeror must be CCR/ORCA certified and this will be a determining factor in the award process if the offeror is not current in their certification. Shipping Information: TN ARNG Attn: Mr. Don Broadnax 3041 Sidco Drive Nashville, TN 37204 SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR CLIMATE REGULATATED CARGO TRAILER (PR 10187660) Any trailer proposed as an equal must have: •A High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) towable with military style pintle hitch. oRequires lighting package. oWiring must be capable to connect with HMMWV receptacle oMust have black out capabilities •A minimum of 118 cubic feet of refrigeration. •Dual temperature zones located inside with removable wall and dual thermostat controlled fans to have both frozen and cold compartments. •Ability to control Frozen Temperature from -10 to 32 degrees F •Ability to control Cold Temperature 33 degrees F and up to 45 degrees F •24 volt DC sealed lighting system with blackout convoy light and 12 pin connector plug mate, which is compatible with HMMWV electrical system. •Refrigeration unit must be capable of being powered off of the HMMWV electrical system (through an inverter) while in transit. •Tires and wheels that are interchangeable with standard issue HMMWV spare tires. They must be HMMWV common tires or compatible with 16.5 x 8.25 steel rim with 8 on 6.5-inch bolt pattern •Suspension and frame suitable for on and off road and /tactical use •Payload Capacity up to 1,500 lbs •Must accommodate a 42" pallet inside refrigeration space •Supply documentation that the Trailer can be air transported in C-130 Military Aircraft and configured with integrated lift shackles certified for external air transport (sling loading) on rotary winged aircraft •Supply documentation of Manufacture and Company Warranty with Quote.
