- This acquisition is being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.1. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; with the solicitation number, N00104-12-Q-Q924 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS), Mechanicsburg, PA has a requirement to acquire Hitachi Data Systems Hardware maintenance for the NAVSUP Business Systems Center. The Brand Name Justification and solicitation are attached. NAVSUP WSS is soliciting quotes on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 811212 and the small business size standard is $25.5M. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued. The offeror shall provide a FFP amount for each item required. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest priced technically acceptable offer. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60, effective July 26, 2012. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Alt 1 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items shall be provided with the quotation. Responses to this solicitation must be received no later than 12:00 pm EST on Saturday, September 22 2012 and shall be sent via email to Jennifer.N.Jones@navy.mil.
