- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number is W58RGZ-12-Q-0214 and is to be Sole Source procurement to Rolls-Royce Corporation, 2355 S Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis, 46241-4812, (CAGE Code 63005) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b), Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The corresponding NAICS Code for this procurement is 332618.The US Army Contracting Command proposes to award a new Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Main Engine Harness Adapters, Part Number 23083917, 85 each. The Main Engine Harness Adapter: connectors will be used to troubleshoot the Main Engine Harness on the OH-58D aircraft. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Feb 2012). FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Jul 2012) applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52-212-5, Contract terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders (Jul 2012) applies with the following clauses from paragraph (b). FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity (Mar 2007). FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities (Oct 2010). FAR clause 52.232-33, Payment By Electronic Funds Transfer - Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003). FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification (Apr 2011). DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Jun 2012) applies to this acquisition with the following clauses applicable from paragraph (b). DFARS 252.225-7036, North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act (Jun 2012). In addition to the listed FAR provisions and clauses, all offerors must provide a contractor identification code which is currently the Dunn and Bradstreet Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number.
