- The Contracting Department, Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 request responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Overhaul of Submarine Separator Sets A1 and A2 (Camels aka Fenders) in accordance with the Statement of Work as required by the Commander Navy Region Mid-Lant. This is a SYNOPSIS for commercial services prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items found at FAR 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611. The size standard is 1,000 employees. The anticipated start date is 45 days following contract award. FOB point is Destination. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form at the NECO Website as follows: http:// www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation is anticipated to be available around 28 August 2012. The RFQ Number is N00189-12-T-0340. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220, or via the Internet at www.sam.gov or URL: http://www.FSD.gov. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
