- Description
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repair on Government Owned Miscellaneous Food Processing Equipment (MFP) as required for the following commissaries: Vandenberg, Port Hueneme and Los Angeles Commissaries. MFP consists of: meat saw, mixer/grinder systems (single, tandem, and industrial), rotary roll-in oven (electric and gas single rack), mini-rotary oven with proofer, meat conveyor, meat chopper table, meat molder/bulker, meat tenderizer table, meat cleaver, meat slicer, roll-in proofer (one and two door). The Period of Performance is nine (9) months from date of award (base period) with two one-year option periods. The solicitation and resulting contract will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line items for PM and Time and Materials (T&M) line items for unscheduled repairs. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about September 4, 2012 with a tentative closing date of October 16, 2012. The anticipated award date is December 18, 2012. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Please pay attention to FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, as applicable. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 and the business size standard is $7 million. Vendors shall be registered in the SAM (https://www.acquisition.gov/), to include listing NAICS 811310 in both databases in order to be eligible for award. All responsible business sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered.
