- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is 0010213017 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-60. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 335999 with a small business size standard of 500.00 employees.This requirement is a [ Small Business ] set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2012-08-30 16:30:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be Fort Campbell, KY 42223 The MCC Bragg - ICO Campbell requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, Tactical Table Arrangement, Spec Ops, Inc. Part No. A3.A01.07, or Equal SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: - six, 5 ft long straight tables - two, 5 ft long corner tables - 14 standard chairs - eight external cable sets - four cases for storage & transportation - tables are made of rugged, lightweight aluminum; powder-coated black - tables feature internally integrated 120VAC power; two separate Cisco 3650 managed and PoE switched data networks; and VGA-based video distribution - Cisco switches installed in straight tables only; corner tables IP devices plug into straight tables - Up to three tables can be daisy-chained, 1, EA; LI 002, Single Screen Display, Spec Ops, Inc. Part No. 1SD 95 SX, or Equal SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: - consisting of a lightweight, aluminum frameset - 95 inch diagonal viewing area screen - one 1400x1050 (SXGA+) DLP projector - system supports popular projection formats - utilizes front, overhead projection - includes 50 ft VGA cable, spare screen, and spare bulb - all components pack inside a single, rugged, weather resistant aluminum case - The entire system including the case weighs less than 175 lbs, 3, EA; LI 003, Shipping and Handling FOB: Origin, 1, EA; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MCC Bragg - ICO Campbell intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. An Offeror may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. MCC Bragg - ICO Campbell is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The selected Offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses in paragraph (b) of FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, will apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-13, 52.232-34. CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them. If company is not registered in CCR, they may do so by going to CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov. No used, re-furbished, or gray market equipment will be accepted, new equipment only. Evaluation Factors are Price and Technical Acceptability Award will be made to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offeror Contract provision 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, is incorporated as part of this solicitation. If offeror is providing other than the brand name requested, descriptive literature must be included. This can include illustrations or drawings. This information must be provided no later than the closing date of the solicitation. If an equal is provided, descriptive literature must be included as requested, or the offer will not be considered. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining information not identified in the offer. Contract clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this solicitation. In accordance with paragraph (f), quotes received after the established closing date will be considered late, and therefore not considered. Contract clause, 52.232-99, Providing Accelerated Payment to Small Business Subcontractors, applies to this solicitation. Upon receipt of accelerated payments from the Government, the contractor is required to make accelerated payments to small business subcontractors to the maximum extent practicable after receipt of a proper invoice and all proper documentation from the small business contractor. The acceleration of payments under this clause does not provide any new rights under the Prompt Payment Act.
