- This amendment is to revise the item description and technical evaluation criteria. The following amendment to the combined synopsis/solicitation is to answer questions submitted regarding the requirement (see blow), and to revise the item description and technical evaluation criteria to address these answers (as attached). The quote due date has been extended to 5 September 2012 at 10:00am. Question: What would be flowing through the hose ( air, Hydraulic oil, Water etc.)? Answer: Hydraulic fluid will be running through the hose. Question: What pressure will it be going through the hose? Answer: 4600 psi is the max pressure. Question: What temperature will it be going through the hose? Answer: 120 to 175 degrees farenheit. Question: What type of drive on the drum( Hydraulic,Pnuematic, Hand Crank) Answer: Pnuematic drive with a hand crank if needed. Question: Steel or S/S Answer: Steel is acceptable Question: Finish( epoxy,Powder coat etc) Answer: Any coating is acceptable Question: Would you rather the unit be taller and narrow or short and wide? Answer: Physical size isnot an issue as long as it is less than 5 feet tall.
