- SF-1449 Scope of work: Contractual Installation of a hydraulically operated quick coupler on a Liebherr R954C excavator with a long reach attachment SN: of R954 C excavator (976-23442). The vendor shall provide the coupler, install the coupler, install an auxiliary hydraulic control line, and provide and install the necessary cab mounted controls for in cab operation of the coupler. Coupler Specifications : Coupler shall be designed to mount on a Liebherr R9S4C Excavator (Stick Part#) (10094289). Quick Coupler shall be set up to be hydraulically operated from the operator's station. Installation Requirements : Installation of hydraulic quick coupler will be completed at the Fountain City Service base. Vendor shall inspect the pin holes on the excavator stick; make a report with recommendations for needed repair, if any, and report the findings to the Contracting Officer. Provide all parts, controls, tools, and labor to equip the excavator with the necessary hydraulic lines for coupler operation. Other Requirements: The 2 Corp owned Liebherr buckets must be modified to fit the coupler. This includes changing the pin sizes from 100mm to 80mm, supplying one new pin, and modifying the spacing between the mounting ears. The vendor is responsible for the transportation of the 2 corps owned Liebherr buckets to and from the Fountain City Service Base for the bucket modification.
