- Justification and Approval System needs to be compatible with this equipment. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION USING OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION LN Laser Controller: The solicitation number is FA8601-12-R-0063. The NAICS Code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). The proposed source is Agilent Technologies, Englewood, CO. The purchase is for a Wireless Communications Test Set. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any information received within six (6) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any information should be e-mailed to brian.maser@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Brian Maser, AFLCMC/PKOBB, (937) 522-4557 no later than 4:00 P.M. local time on 03 Sept 2012. E-mail submissions must contain the subject line, "Solicitation FA8601-12-R-0063, Wireless Test Set" E-mail filters at WPAFB are designed to filter e-mails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe or.zip files). Therefore, if the prescribed subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters. Also.zip or.exe files are prohibited attachments and may be deleted by the WPAFB e-mail filters. Ensure only.pdf,.doc, or.xls documents are sent as attachments to e-mail.
