- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Note: Please see attachments to view this combined synopsis/solicitation in its entirety. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FDA-SOL-1107135 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-58. This requirement is being solicited using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511120, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. OBJECTIVE The U. S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grant Services (OAGS) is seeking to seeking to obtain access to a database containing general information about all drug products marketed in the United States, including currently marketed and discontinued products. The database will be used to do more comprehensive analyses of drug industry trends, which would include combining the data provided by the offeror with other data available at the FDA.
