The web-based solution will be a Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software application, also known as, "EOC Assessment & Compliance Tool" and will reside on a virtual server behind the VA firewall. The solution will have the ability to address from identification to resolution, all violations of EOC Standards, as referenced by TJC and VHA policy, and shall provide capabilities to integrate clinical and administrative corrective action plans (CAPs) to address EOC, as well as Infection Prevention and Control by gathering data and handling issues in real-time to provide instant and accurate results. The effort will include project planning, installation, tablet configuration, migration of existing surveys and guidance, addition of individual local surveys as required, implementation planning, training, and ongoing maintenance and support. The resultant contract will include one base period of up to 16 months, and four 12-month option periods. This acquisition will be conducted as a Small Business set-aside.
