- Questions and Answers The intention of this solicitation is to award a firm fixed price contact for a project to refurbish and/or replace all components included in the operation of the Opera House's 'Main House Curtain' motor, mechanical systems, and drive electronics at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The renovation shall include updating all components to provide a more reliable and modern system with easily obtainable spare parts and service availability. Proposals will be evaluated and award will be based upon the Best Value to the Government based on lowest price and technically acceptable factors. Offerors must be registered in the Contractor's Central Registration (CCR) in order to participate in this procurement. Registration can be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ All questions MUST be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist, David H.
