Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Detention Center located in SeaTac, Washington intends to issue a solicitation for Imam, Muslim Religious Support Services. This requirement has been established to support comprehensive religious programs within the facility Religious Services Department. All services will be accomplished to support the Religious Service Departments religious program goals and objectives. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the service is 813110 (Size Standard; $7 million), and all services listed shall be set aside for award to small business. The solicitation shall result in a firm-fixed indefinite delivery/ requirements type contract with the use of options. The intended contract shall be for a base period of twelve months from the date of award, with four - 12 month option year renewal periods based on continued need. The identified services are requested one day a week, for a period of three hours (sessions), or an estimated session total of 156 annually. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The Agency shall award services to the responsible offer that conforms to each aspect of the solicitation, and which has provided the best value to the government. The solicitation availability to an interested Offeror is expected to be on or after September 3, 2012 and will be distributed exclusively through the Federal Business Opportunities web site http: // www.fbo.gov. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be available for the acquisition. This site provides downloading instructions to the Offeror. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties shall be responsible for the monitoring of this site, to insure that they have the most recent information about this acquisition. The Detention Center's anticipated date of receipt for quotations shall be on or near the date of September 13, 2012. All Offeror's that are interested in receiving contracts with the federal government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) database (http:// www.ccr.gov ). A selected Offeror under this solicitation will be required to complete a security clearance prior to award or performance.
