- Description
- SF-1449 SOW for A/C unit at LD1 　 　 Furnish and install an air condition (A/C) unit at Lock and Dam 1 in Minneapolis, MN. The existing unit shall be disconnected and disposed of according to state & Federal regulations. The A/C unit is located on the roof of the Central Control station. The government will provide the crane support to lift the existing unit off the roof and place the new unit on the roof. The existing unit is a 10 ton Carrier AC/Heating unit. The contractor shall disconnect all wires and prepare the unit for removal from the roof. The contractor shall furnish and install a new A/C unit. The unit shall be a 10 ton, include a 75 kW heating element,, and have a DC fan motor. The contractor shall add a modified curb adapter to the existing intake shaft and use the existing supply and return ducts. The contractor shall provide a new thermostat that includes new averaging zones and wireless capabilities for off-site status checks. Unit shall be started and tested in accordance with manufactures recommendations. Contractors interested in bidding the work may inspect the unit and site prior to submitting a bid. Contractors shall contact Tim Tabery, Lockmaster, at 612-724-2971 to arrange for a site inspection. The address is Lock & Dam 1, 5000 West River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55417.
