Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA intends to solicit for hazardous and non-hazardous pharmaceutical and duel (hazardous chemical and bio-hazardous) waste services to include labeling, lab packing, consolidation, collection, shipment, manifesting, regulatory inspection, auditing, training, consulting and emergency spill response for the Iowa City VA Medical Center from 9/26/12 through 9/25/13 with four one year options included. Solicitation number VA263-12-Q-1338 for hazardous wastes, NAICS 562211, size standard is $12.5 million, will be issued on or about 8/29/12. The request for quote will be available electronically for download. All quotes shall be mailed to VAMC-Iowa City, IA (we want the original signed copy) however, interested parties may fax or email in advance, a signed copy to (319) 358-6430. VAMC intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract. This solicitation is 100% set aside to small businesses only; all interested, responsible parties are invited to submit a proposal (quote) for consideration. The Deadline to submit a quote on or about 9/6/12. Quotes must be received, at VAMC-Iowa City (90C), Hwy 6 West, Iowa City, IA, 52246, by 3:00 pm on or about 9/6/12.
