- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE HIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING ON OR ABOUT October 01, 2012 On or about 01 October a solicitation for recycling services and collection for Little Rock, Air Force Base, Little Rock, AFB, AR 72099 will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). All work for this solicitation will be performed at Little Rock Air Force Base. This procurement is anticipated as a100% set-a side for competitive HUB Zone firms located in the contiguous United States. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562920, with a size standard of $12,500,000. The Government's objective is to obtain services including all personnel, management, supervision, some tools, some materials, and some equipment required to perform complete recycle services at Little Rock Air Force Base Little Rock, AFB, AR. This request for information includes the current draft Statement of Work, and DRAFT Solicitation for review, with intent to obtain interested HUB Zone firms that are interested in this procurement. If there are recommended changes due to changes in the commercial market place that would benefit the Government to add to their solicitation please advice for our consideration. Capabilities statements will be accepted from interested HUB Zone Vendors. All Offerors shall demonstrate the ability to have successfully performed this work on previous projects within the past three years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will result in the award of one Commercial Items Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) service contract which will be for a nine (9) month base year with a potential of three option years. As the solicitation will be issued via the internet FEDBIZOPS, all prospective offerors MUST register themselves on the website and in Systems for Award Management (SAMS) at https://www.sam.gov. All contractors are encouraged to attempt to download prior to obtaining the solicitation through alternate sources. Many firms and commercial printing services have the capability to print the solicitation package and plan holders list off the internet, if necessary. Amendments will also be posted on the website for downloading. This will be the normal method for distributing amendments; therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation and this RFI.
