SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a sources sought announcement only! This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources such as 8(a), HubZone, small disadvantage, service disabled veteran-owned business, and small business relative to NAICS 238990, size standard $14.0M. Responses will be used to determine appropriate acquisition decisions. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, One Freedom Way Augusta, GA 30904 is seeking sources for a potential contract for the installation of a dishwasher and a 15.5 kw instantaneous hot water heater. Contractor will furnish potable water supply, electrical service 50 amp circuit, and disconnect box in support of the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. The vendor shall furnish all labor and material. The VA will provide the dishwashing machine. Responses to this sought must include 1. Point of contact. 2. Company Name, 3. Address, 4. Telephone & Fax numbers, 5. Email address, and 6. Type of business such as HubZone, 8(a), small business, service disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, etc. Responses shall be emailed to the attention of Bruce Caughman at bruce.caughman@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00PM EST, September 6, 2012. No solicitation is available at this time; this is to acquire information only. Responses to this request shall not be considered a request to be added to any mailing list or to receive a copy of a solicitation. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a separate solicitation announcement that shall be published separately.
