- THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH/SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE SEEKING INFORMATION ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT IS LOOKING FOR BUSINESS SOURCES THAT CAN OR COULD PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING: Load and transport three 250 ton Chillers from Mt. Weather, VA to Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ. Mt. Weather is a Department of Homeland Security compound that may require site access. Companies are responsible for all security clearances, permits, coordination with law enforcement agencies, state transportation codes/regulations, and equipment required to load and secure chillers for transportation. This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. This is NOT a request for proposal and there is no solicitation package available at this time. Participation does not imply any obligation by the United States Government or any agency thereof. Proprietary information will be protected to the greatest extent provided by law. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO THIS REQUEST, nor will we compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided. We will also not pay for any demonstration nor compensate any respondent for any costs incurred with development or performance of a demonstration that may be requested. Interested companies are encouraged to respond to this notice by providing capabilities statement or other documentation demonstrating ability to perform this service 12 PM (Noon) Mountain Standard Time, Friday, September 7, 2012. Companies are requested to provide their socio-economic status and be registered in Central Contractor Registration.
