- Description
- Provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and all incidental items to install gate at Bldg 1547, Fort Shafter Flats. Cut existing fence and install two (2) each 3-1/2" gate posts with 18' x 3' concrete footings and tie existing fence to posts using commercial grate tension bars, pressed steel fittings, and new brace bands to hold barbwire. Provide and install one (1) each 3'6" x 7' walk gate with slats utilizing 9 ga galv fabric, 1-5/8" gate frame, pressed steel fittings and commercial grade hinges with Kaba Simplex 1000 series (knob style) lock or equal. Lock will allow for security and key able core bypass. Install two (2) each 1-5/8" braces from new gate posts to existing line posts and truss rods to secure and support new gate. Install one (1) 2" x 2" sf steel tube header across top of new gate, 3 strands of class 4 pt barbwire and install LCN automatic hydraulic adjustable door closures to pull gate closed. A site visit will be held September 6, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Bldg 1547, Fort Shafter Flats,HI.
