- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 0010200403 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-60, Effective 27 August 2012. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 333319 with the number of employees not to exceed 500. Description of Requirement: CLIN 0001: The request is for a one-time buy of a Biomass Briquette System BP-500 or RUF 11 or equivalent. Must be able to handle all types of wood, paper, cardboard, and other types of biomass. Must be 220v and be able to process 400 lbs of Briquettes per hour minimum. If an equivalent is submitted, specifications shall be included in the quote for approval. CLIN 0002: The request is for a one-time buy of a Vecoplan VAZ 800 shredder or equivalent. Must be able to handle all types of wood to at least 4x4x36", paper, cardboard, and other types of biomass. Must be 220V. If an equivalent is submitted, specifications shall be included in the quote for approval. CLIN 0003: Quote shall be structured to show a CLIN breakdown of the proposed equipment. Quote shall include all shipping, freight, delivery and handling fees and charges to FOB Destination on Fort Greely, Alaska 99731. Quote Information: Quotes shall be submitted and received no later than Monday, September 14, 2012, at 1600 hours (4:00 P.M.) Alaska Standard Time.
