- Sole source The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Abbott Laboratories for the procurement of the following service: Purchase of Cell-Dyn Reagents: Description Part Number Quantity CD Ruby Diluent/Sheath (20 L) 2 per month 03H73-01 12 MO CD Ruby WBC Lyse (960 mL) 2 per month 03H78-01 12 MO CD Ruby NOC Lyse (4 L) 1 per month 03H80-02 12 MO This requirement is conducted under FAR 8.405-6, Only One Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Thursday 20 September 12, 1000 MST to Jeremy Dedmon, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
