- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR POWER INVERTERS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to post additional Questions and Answers. Question No. 2: Is it possible to get a copy of the SSP and JSC documents referenced in this solicitation? Answer to Question No. 2: Per Amendment No. 3 there is now a process to request both SSP and JSC documents referenced in this combined Synopsis Solicitation No. NNJ12435301Q. Question No. 3: Are there size constraints of the inverter? Answer to Question No. 3: No, size is not specifically identified by requirement. Question No. 4: Could you please specify the exact power receptacles with covers/dust caps require in 4.6.1? Answer to Question No. 4: The Statement of Work (SOW) does not specify the exact power receptacles with covers/dust caps to be used in the power inverters. Section 4.6.1 of the SOW states each power inverter shall have a minimum of four (4) output power receptacles with covers/dust caps. Question No. 5: Could you please specify the output power connectors required with cover/dust cap as per 4.6.6? Answer to Question No. 5: Section 4.6.6 of the SOW does not reference nor specify output power connectors with cover/dust cap(s). Section 4.6.6 of the SOW states that each inverter shall have a minimum of four (4) output power status LEDs and the SOW does not specify the exact LED to be used with the power inverter. Question No. 6: Is XPK-1-2-6-1-97 of paragraph 5.0 an existing manufacturers part number? Answer to Question No. 6: Yes, XPK-1-2-6-1-97 is an existing manufacturers part number. Question No. 7: If so, who is the manufacturer? Answer to Question No. 7: The manufacturer is ExelTech. Question No. 8: Do you require outside shock and vibration testing per 4.2 and 4.3? Answer to Question No. 8: No, we do not require outside shock and vibration testing per 4.2 and 4.3. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 24, 2012. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
