- Description
- Service to repair and maintain landscaping for 944th FW headquarters building. One time service in accordance with statement of work to be provided. The 56th Contracting Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFQ) for acquisition of Landscaping Service at Luke AFB, AZ. The principal work is to repair and replace the sprinklers and surrounding vegetation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this effort is 561730. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and make a single award to one offeror. The Government is soliciting for the award of a Firm-Fixed Price contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 4 September 2012 with a 17 day proposal period. This acquisition is reserved for Small Business only. In using the best value approach, the Government seeks to award to an offeror who gives the Air Force the greatest confidence that it will meet the requirements affordably. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and all subsequent notices and amendments will be posted on the Internet at http://fedbizops.gov. The Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
