- Notice of Intent DITCO PL8324 intends to award a sole source contract to Johnson Controls for security camera installation. Contracting action is required for the installation of security monitoring equipment to be added to our existing security camera, badge and security monitoring system using our existing service/maintenance/monitoring contract with Johnson Controls. Specifically: Four (4) Megapixel Surveillance Cameras, camera mounts, necessary cabling, computer and computer monitor, computer mount, VPN tie-in, and hard drive storage. The procurement is authorized under FAR 13.501(a)(1)(iii). The NAICS for this requirement is 561621 and the applicable FSC is 6350. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any company that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 PM CST, 06 September 2012. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the contractor's capabilities and the ability to comply with above requirement. A Justification and Approval has been attached for this purchase. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
